The expert care begins first thing in the morning, at sunrise, each of the horses undergo a thorough examination, they have their temperatures checked and are groomed for the first time that day.  One groom will tend to a maximum of three horses on any given day.  Having only one groom per three horses ensures that the horse's needs will be met.

There are physical therapists available to the horses.  Warming up of the horses is done by a state of the art Clayton Exerciser imported from England.  This "horse friendly" walker allows the horses to be warmed up without being tied up.  Once the horses are finished with their morning warm up sessions, they are off to the track for a gallop or training.  All workouts are timed by a CHRB Official and publicly posted.
